A team of PAC Doverie visited the animal shelter "Friend Forever"

A team of the Pension Assurance Company Doverie visited the Plovdiv shelter for stray animals "Friend Forever" as part of their socially active day.

There, together with the employees of the complex, they participated in a walk of abandoned or stray dogs and donated food for their food.

"The animals are extremely loving, playful and looking for attention, which we, in turn, felt in the short time with them. We tried to respond to them with the same emotion", said the team of PAC Doverie.

The shelter points out that the animals need a home and care, but the process is extremely difficult because most of them are not purebred. On the territory of "Friend Forever" there are also purebred animals, abandoned by their owners because they are unable to take care of them or because they do not know how and do not manage to master the character that the animal shows.

The manager of the complex - Yordan Alexiev, calls on the citizens of Plovdiv to get acquainted in more detail with the activities of the shelter and adds that they are also engaged in controlling the population of stray animals exclusively and only in a humane way - through castration. In addition, the shelter also castrates pets at a significantly lower fee. 

According to him, very often owners do not neuter their pets, given the high prices, and at a time when an animal is lost or expelled, it gives birth to a generation that someone has to deal with again.
