At an official ceremony, the "40 under 40" project honored Bulgaria's young leaders for 2024

 
At an official ceremony in the Botanical Garden of Sofia University, the new talented Bulgarians under 40, who have been included in this year's list of Darik Radio's "40 under 40" initiative, were presented and honored.

The prestigious event, organized for the 11th consecutive time, brought together successful and inspiring individuals from various fields who stand out with their innovations, social engagement, and significant contributions to society. 

A special guest at the event was artist Nedko Solakov, one of the most recognizable and successful Bulgarian creators abroad.

The "First Among Equals" award this year was presented to Filip Sinapov, a folk performer, ethnographer, teacher, and writer. With his own funds, Filip built the only interactive folk house-museum in Bulgaria, "Garnatskine Konatsi" in Momchilgrad, where visitors can experience authentic Bulgarian lifestyle and culture.

Pension Assurance Company Doverie has been supporting the "40 under 40" initiative for the eighth consecutive year, which has become a symbol of innovation and visionary thinking in Bulgaria, inspiring more and more young people to follow their path and seek change.

The project showcases successful and talented individuals or teams in fields such as "Business and Entrepreneurship," "Culture and Art," "Science, Technology, Inventions," "Education," "Medicine," "Environment," "Sports," "Social Activities," "Volunteering," "Human Rights," "Media and Communication."

Don’t be discouraged by skeptics and harsh words, don't give up in the face of difficulties! Because success is both a result and a journey, one on which you'll take daily steps. Sometimes smaller, sometimes larger. Your success, besides being personal, is also a success for our entire society and nation!" stated Nikolay Marev, CEO of Pension Assurance Company Doverie, in his speech to this year's laureates and all attendees.
