Daniela Petkova, Chief Executive Officer of PAC Doverie, was awarded the Burov Prize

For the first time the Board of the Burov Foundation awards the prize for financial management to a representative of the non-banking financial sector

On January 27, 2011 the Burov Foundation awarded its traditional prizes for financial and industrial management, with which it distinguishes bankers, financiers and industrialists for their achievements in the professional and social activity.

In the financial management category, the Burov prize for 2010 was awarded to Daniela Petkova - CEO of PAC Doverie. Mrs. Daniela Petkova is the first winner of this prestigious award that manages a non-banking financial institution.

When handing out the Burov Prize Ivan Iskrov, Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank presented the achievements of PAC Doverie under the management of Mrs. Daniela Petkova and her personal contribution to the development of supplementary pension insurance as an important sector of the financial and economic system of the country.

Daniela Petkova accepted the award as a recognition of the ever-increasing role of supplementary pension insurance and PAC Doverie, both for the Bulgarian financial system and for the solution of the important issue of the income of future pensioners. She focused in particular that the prize is an assessment not only of her personal qualities and achievements in financial management, but also of the dedication and the professionalism of the people working for the Company.

Daniela Petkova ranked in the prestigious list of winners of the Burov prize among which are evident the the names of the bankers: Dimitar Dimitrov, Chavdar Kanchev, Violina Marinova, Krassimir Angarski, Stillian Vatev, Radka Toncheva, Dimitar Zhelev, Svetoslav Gavriiski, Levon Hampartsumyan, Momchil Andreev; and the industrialists: Plamen Bobokov, Andrei Evtimov, Krassimir Stanev, Zhechko Kyurkchiev, Sasho Donchev, Konstantin Petrov, Simeon Peshov, Ognyan Donev, Nikola Dobrev. The winner of this year's prize for industrial management is Nikolay Mihaylov, President of the Board of Directors of Trace Group Hold.
