Employees of PAC Doverie joined the 14th edition of the campaign “Caps for future”
This spring the campaign took place in a record 33 Bulgarian cities. All of the raised funds will go towards equipment for 20 children’s and maternity wards across the country.
Since the beginning of this initiative, donations have helped to purchase specialized children’s ambulances, incubators and more than 40 medical devices.
40 hospitals across Bulgaria were subject to the donations and over 1000 children’s lives have been saved. Thanks to the campaign, over 1 000 000 kg of plastic has been recycled.
This year gorata.bg supported “Caps for future” by donating 20 000 honey, park, forest and fruit trees to the people of Sofia who handed over their caps, plastic bottles and aluminum cans at square “Alexander Batenberg”.
Among the seedlings that were donated were fragrant lilacs, honey lime and acacia, evergreen firs, majestic oaks, cherries, sour cherries, quinces, wild cherries and more.
Anyone who wishes to support the cause can collect plastic caps from all kinds of products that are used in daily lives such as beverages (water, milk, beer, soft drinks, etc.); cosmetics and household products (shower gel, shampoo, detergents and fabric softeners), as well as all other caps printed with the number 2 or 5 inscribed in a triangle on the inside.
