Employees of PAC Doverie planted trees at the Lyuben Karavelov Home for Children, in Sofia, within the campaign "100 000 e-mail addresses for 1000 new trees".
On 9 November, employees of PAC Doverie planted trees and bushes in the yard of the Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care “Lyuben Karavelov" in the city of Sofia. The initiative was a part of the campaign "100 000 e-mail addresses for 1000 new trees", initiated in order to reduce the number of paper statements that the Company sends to its clients every year.
Consenting to receive a statement electronically allows a secure and flexible relationship with customers and reduces the risks of the letter getting lost, falling into someone else's hands as a result of a changed or incorrect address and other possible postal delivery problems. This also reduces the use of paper and ink, which is good for nature and the environment.
Anyone wishing to opt out of the paper statement can do so by visiting any of the offices of PAC Doverie, nationwide, to sign the necessary annex or contract for this. The company will continue to encourage this effort and will plant one tree or shrub for every 100 e-mail addresses as a part of its corporate social responsibility and sustainability policy.
