Employees of PAC Doverie revived the Dragalevski beach

Employees of the Pension Assurance Company Doverie breathed new life into the Dragalevski Beach area, which has been taken over by vegetation for decades.

The annual initiative "Socially Active Day" of the Company was implemented with the assistance of the Green Systems Directorate of Sofia Municipality, which provided specialized equipment for the shredding of the collected over 2 tons of wood and the raking of silt from the artificial lake. In addition, the employees placed an information board with the history of the Dragalevtsi neighborhood and the nearby Dragalevtsi Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin, which was founded by Tsar Ivan Alexander. Subsequently, it became a famous monastery and was rightly called "Royal Monastery". In 1871 – 1872, when the Sofia Committee was founded, Vasil Levski repeatedly stayed in the monastery. Near the monastery, Exarch Stefan built the residence of the Holy Synod and the Bulgarian Patriarchs.

The initiative of PAC Doverie, which is organized with the gratuitous work of employees and was held under the motto: "Kindness is the only investment that never fails", is part of a large-scale campaign for cleaning, ennobling and supporting local communities throughout the country.

Since the beginning of October, 9 locations in different regions have been improved, and in the coming weeks two more causes related to the Sliven park Hammam Bair and the village of Staro Zhelezare, Hisarya Municipality will be implemented. 

So far, the employees of PAC Doverie have cleared more than 10 sq. m. Km. green areas, have helped collect hundreds of kilograms of garbage and more than 3 tons of wood and shrubs.
