Kiril Georgiev: Digitalization is a priority for PAC Doverie

“Digitalization is a path that we must constantly follow. A path without an end date. It changes not only the Company’s business model, but also the entire pension industry”. This was stated by Kiril Georgiev, Executive Director of PAC Doverie, during a discussion panel: “What is the secret of successful new business models?” at the event “Digitalization 360”. The forum, organized by Evrotrust, was held on April 8 at the Hilton Hotel in Sofia.

During the event, valuable guidance was given to all participants on how to achieve their key goals for 2025 through smart digitalization. And leaders from the pension and insurance sector, IT, banking and retail shared good practices for creating innovative business models.

“For PAC Doverie, digitalization is a continuous process that includes increasing digital services for easier, faster and more transparent interaction with customers”, said Kiril Georgiev.

He added that the Company started this process a decade ago, and today the customer environment has completely changed and 99 percent of sales are already electronic. With the digitalization of the sales process introduced in 2019 and the elimination of the need for notary intervention, the results of PAC Doverie have significantly improved.

The digitalization of sales has been implemented not only in the company’s own sales structure, but also in the activities of partner organizations.

In 2023, the electronic employment file was introduced for all employees of the Company. Thus, with the introduced digital processes, PAC Doverie saves over 8,000 pages and 15,000 hours of all employees annually.

In 2024, at the first edition of the NEXT DIFI Awards, organized by b2b media, PAC Doverie was announced as a leader in digital transformation, thanks to an innovative service - digital onboarding, thanks to which anyone can become a customer easier than ever - with just access to the Internet and a mobile device.

The Company's results in the field of digitalization and innovation are also highly appreciated by the majority owner - Vienna Insurance Group, which has 50 companies in 30 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and serves more than 33 million customers.
