PAC Doverie amongst the Europe’s Top 1000

The leading European Investment & Pensions Europe (IPE) magazine published last week its annual Top 1000 for 2007, a listing of the Europe's largest pension funds. PAC Doverie ranks 927 amongst them, with EUR 300 million AUM. For the first time companies from Central and Eastern Europe, two Bulgarian ones included, find their place amongst the top European pension funds. The other Bulgarian company is PIC Allianz Bulgaria, which with its EUR 252 million AUM ranks 997, 70 positions behind Doverie.
The leader on the European pension market is the Norwegian Government Pension Fund - Global, with a value of EUR 218 billion. It ousted ABP, a Dutch public pension fund, Europe's largest for many years, which this year falls behind by EUR 17 billion.
The analysis of the magazine shows that the assets of this year's listed European pension funds have grown by EUR 3.5 trillion, while last year the growth was EUR 3 trillion.
The IPE experts note that most of the data used are for the year 2006, but some of the funds have reported data of 2005 and 2007.

Two Bulgarian Pension Companies amongst the best in Europe

The annual rating (for the 7th time) is made by the prestigious British IPE magazine, announced Insurance.bg. PAC Doverie, with EUR 300 million AUM ranks 927 and PIC Allianz Bulgaria is 70 positions behind Doverie with its EUR 252 million AUM and ranks 997.
