PAC Doverie is a part of the European information platform for the exchange of social security data
PAC Doverie is now part of the European information platform "Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information" (EESSI). As of today (06.01.2020), the Company, together with the other pension insurance companies and social institutions, including the National Social Security Institute, the National Health Insurance Fund, the National Revenue Agency, the Social Assistance Agency, etc., have joined the system, which allows fast and secure exchange of data and sharing of social security information under the EU rules for coordination of social security.
PAC Doverie participates in this exchange for the following insurance cases:
old-age pension claim;
survivors' pension claim;
disability pension claim;
child-raising period claim;
claim for pension amounts for the determination of supplements, etc.
EESSI aims to carry out all communication between national institutions, in cross-border social security cases, through structured electronic documents and agreed procedures. These documents will be sent, via EESSI, to the correct destination in another Member State.
Through EESSI, citizens of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Norway will receive faster and more efficient exchange of messages between social security institutions, more accurate data exchange between national authorities and more secure processing of personal data.
In Bulgaria, the project to develop the system started in 2017, with the PAC Doverie and the other members of the Bulgarian Association of Supplementary Pension Security Companies building the necessary information resources and competences for connectivity at their own expense.
