PAC Doverie supported the "Financial Forum: education, personnel, growth"

The problem of education and the growing lack of staff was the focus of the "Finance Forum: education, staff, growth" organised by the Bank of the Year Association. The event was held on 29th November, in the Royal Hall of Sofia Balkan Hotel, with the support of PAC Doverie.

 
During the event was demonstrated the positive experience in building out-of-the-box but interesting and effective relationships between the financial business and higher education institutions. The focus of the discussion was the future of those working in the financial sphere, the change in the profile of the required personnel in relation to digitalization and innovative changes in the financial business worldwide. Participants commented that the problem of finding properly educated people for the needs of the business is deepening and the state has no long-term horizon strategy.

 
The forum was attended by representatives of Bulgarian business - including bank management, insurance and investment companies, insurance funds, academia, employers and industry organizations.

 
The Forum ended with the awarding of prizes in the traditional competition "Annual Bank Awards" of the Bank of the Year Association. The Grand Prize for Bank of the Year was awarded to UniCredit Bulbank. The other awards went to: SiBank – secret customer; Postbank – special diploma Bank Transaction of the Year; BNP-Paribas – foreign bank branch; UniCredit Bulbank – market share; DSK Bank – efficiency and BACB – dynamic development.
