PAC Doverie supported the Second World Deaf Volleyball Championship held in Bulgaria
From 14 to 16 August the Second World Championship for Deaf People took place in Sofia. The championship, organized by the Sports Federation of the Deaf People in Bulgaria, was attended by 12 male and 10 female teams from Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Venezuela, France, Germany, Iran, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus, USA and Japan.
As part of its socially responsible policy to promote social integration and the full expression of the qualities and talents of disadvantaged people, PAC Doverie supported the holding of this major international forum.
Bulgaria was represented in the competitions only with a male team, and the participation of the young team is an important stage of its preparation for the 22nd Summer Olympic Games for Deaf People, which will be held next year, with Sofia again hosting the event. The winners in both the men's and women's competitions were the Ukraine teams.
