The 2060 project of PAC Doverie

The www.2060.bg blog is a social project of the Pension Assurance Company Doverie, which aims to take a snapshot of our assumptions today about how the world, people and life will change in the next 50 years.

 
PAC Doverie is a company that cares for the future of 1 300 000 Bulgarians, and it is important for us to share people's hopes and concerns about what will happen in years to come. Every month our clients give us confidence in the future by entrusting us with the care of their old age. That is why today, when we have over 1 billion levs in assets under management, we decided to make this free internet platform and give all Bulgarians the opportunity to share with us and with the world their vision of what lies ahead.

 
Without claiming to be exhaustive or objective, the site is an invitation to each of you to share your forecasts and comment on the positions of the other participants in this virtual discussion. Your opinions will not be judged. Each of them will find a place in the book "2060″ which will be published in June, 2010 and enclosed in a time capsule. Posts with obscene content will not be published on the site.

 
In 50 years, will we be able to add more memory to the human brain like we do now with our old computers? Will the wars of the future be about water, not oil? Whatever we ask today, our children will know the answer.
