Professional Pension Fund Doverie

The Professional Pension Fund Doverie is the fund where workers under the first and second category of labour are insured for early retirement.
By the end of the third quarter of 2024, the customers of the Fund were 78 599 people, representing a market share of 23,74%.
The assets under management are BGN 417 490 thousand, which represents a market share of 24,20%. 

 

Investment results

The Fund's assets are invested in accordance with the approved investment policy at moderate to moderately high levels of risk.

The units value is in BGN.

 

 

 

Rights of insured in PPF Doverie

Insurance in Professional Pension Fund Doverie entitles to:

  • Early professional pension for workers under the first and second categories of labour according to the category of labour;
  • One-off or deferred payment of up to 50 per cent of the accumulated amount in the individual account in the event of a permanently reduced work capacity exceeding 89.99 per cent;
  • One-off or deferred payment to the heirs of a deceased insured person or pensioner;
  • One-off or deferred payment of the funds in the individual account of an insured person who has been granted a pension for old-age and pension periods for social insurance under Part I of the Social Security Code and has not acquired or exercised the right to early professional pension;
  • Transfer of the funds in the individual account in a general pension fund or in a voluntary pension fund of an insured person who has been granted a pension for old-age and pension periods for social insurance under Part I of the Social Security Code and has not acquired or exercised the right to a professional pension for early retirement.

 

Specific rights of insured persons in PPF Doverie

According to the Rules on the organization and activity of PPF Doverie, the insured in the fund are entitled to:

  • Free and unlimited access to the status of an individual account;
  • Accurate, up-to-date, and understandable information about their rights and obligations, provided in a manner chosen by them;
  • Choosing and changing the method of receiving information from the fund;
  • Reports and complaints about errors, omissions and violations in the activities of insurance intermediaries and employees.

Information on amendments and additions to the Rules on the organization and activity of the PPF Doverie is announced in the newspapers "24 hours" and "Bulgaria Today". Information on the adoption of a new or amendment to the existing investment policy is published in the newspapers "24 hours" and "Bulgaria Today".

 

Fees


The fees charged by Pension Assurance Company Doverie are as follows:

A fee levied on each contribution when it is paid in Professional Pension Fund, amounting to:

3.75 per cent - for contributions paid for 96 months or less;

3.50 per cent - for contributions paid from 97 to and including 120 months;

3.25 per cent - for contributions paid from 121 to and including 180 months;

3.00 per cent – for contributions paid for more than 180 months.

An investment fee calculated on the value of the net assets of Professional Pension Fund, depending on the period during which they were managed by PAC Doverie, amounting to:

0.75 per cent - per year

A fee of BGN 10 for the transfer of the funds in the individual account from PPF Doverie to the pension schemes of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the European Investment Bank, in accordance with Article 343a, para. 1, item 1 and Article 343f of the Social Security Code.

 

Note:

The fee from each insurance contribution shall not be charged on funds transferred from a professional pension fund managed by another pension insurance company. In determining the number of months for which contributions have been paid, the insurance contributions received in a general pension fund managed by another pension insurance company shall also be taken into account, provided that the insured person makes available a statement from the individual account from this company, or a reference from the National Revenue Agency, for the transferred insurance contributions to a general pension fund(s) from which funds were transferred, and the months to which they refer.
