PAC Doverie became a partner of "Aspen hive"

PAC Doverie became a partner of the environmental initiative "Aspen Hive". 

The mission of the founders of the project is to stop the negative trend of bee extinction, protecting them through smart technologies and innovative solutions. Another priority is to draw attention to healthy food, which is an increasingly important factor in the quality and duration of human life.

The inclusion of PAC Doverie in the campaign to protect bees and support Bulgarian beekeepers is part of our corporate social responsibility, which is under the motto: "Kindness is an investment that never fails". Through our partnership in the program, we also contribute to the preservation of biodiversity and the increase in the bee population in Bulgaria.

For the past 5 years, the "Aspen Hive" team has been part of the large-scale project – HIVEOPOLIS, in which 6 prestigious universities from all over Europe participate. Together they are developing the integration of innovative systems under the concept of “Polis (city) of hives of the future”. Among the inventions are an automatic honey extraction system, a counter for bees entering and leaving the hive and radically new models of beehives that enhance the resilience of bees to a changing environment.

The next step in innovation is the use of bees as environmental sensors. Relying on scientific methodology, a large network of beekeeper partners and experts have developed a service that helps businesses assess the environment and their impact on the ecosystems in which they operate. 

The "True Honey" platform, part of the initiative, helps producers sell their products at a decent price, and honey consumers to obtain a 100% pure and genuine product with guaranteed quality and origin.
