PAC Doverie cleaned and improved two playgrounds in the Pavlovo district of Sofia
Employees of PAC Doverie refreshed and improved two playgrounds in the Pavlovo district of Sofia.
As part of their annual initiative "Socially Active Day", a team from Sofia restored and painted a wooden fence, benches, swings and a slide. In addition, the employees planted trees, cleaned up the waste in the area and painted a metal bridge over which hundreds of students pass every day.
The initiative, which was held under the motto: "Kindness is the only investment that never fails", is part of the corporate social responsibility policy of PAC Doverie and was implemented with the support of the Municipality of Vitosha.
The name of the neighborhood comes from the Serbian merchant Lazar Trifkovic, who came shortly after the Liberation and bought a Turkish farmstead located near the Vladayska River. The place is located on the west side of the tram route, between the stops "Ovcha Kupel" and "Pavlovo".
In 1882, he built the Pavlovo beer factory there, named after his prematurely deceased son Pavel.
