PAC Doverie hosted a practical "lesson" on insurance for students

PAC Doverie took part in the XVII edition of the educational program "Non-Banking Financial Sector in Bulgaria" for students from vocational high schools of economics in Bulgaria, organized by the Financial Supervision Commission, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Atanas Burov Foundation.

 
On 11.09.2019, 20 students and 4 teachers, from economic schools, across the country, visited the Company and received practical knowledge and first-hand impressions of the insurance market, what is insurance under capital schemes, how the funds of over one million and two hundred thousand clients are managed and invested. The acquired knowledge can help the future educational and professional orientation of young people, which is the purpose of the program.

 
Daniela Petkova, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of PAC Doverie, welcomed the students and urged them to be persistent and hardworking, to know and defend their insurance rights in their future professional development. The students were introduced to the details of actuarial calculations and investments of pension funds by Angelina Petrova and Miroslav Marinov, Executive directors of the Company.

 
The program "Non-Banking Financial Sector in Bulgaria" is aimed at deepening students' knowledge in the field of finance and increasing their financial culture, as well as their early educational and professional orientation. It includes meetings with professionals and visits to companies in the non-banking sector, focusing on the principles and mechanisms of the capital, insurance and insurance markets.

 
In addition to the activities of PAC Doverie, the future financiers were introduced to the work of Insurance and Reinsurance Company Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, Elana Trading, Carol Financial Group, TV Bloomberg, etc. At a special ceremony at the Financial Supervision Commission, which took place on 12.09.2019, the students of the XVII edition of the educational program "Non-Banking Financial Sector in Bulgaria" received their attendance certificates.
