PAC Doverie supports JA Bulgaria's project to create a year-round finance course for high school students

At a special event held on 15.11.2017 at Sofia Tech Park, JA Bulgaria announced the launch of the Practical Finance project, which is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science. It aims to provide young people with money management strategies, including clarifying the role of employment and income, budgeting, saving, credit and debt, consumer protection, smart consumption, risk management, investing, etc. PAC Doverie is one of the financial sector companies supporting this initiative of JA Bulgaria.

The project will be implemented in two phases. Its first phase includes the development of a new educational course for high school students, designed for year-round learning, within 72 teaching hours. The pilot classes in which the teaching will begin will be included in the second term of this school year. The first full academic year of implementation will be 2018/2019.

The course will be a translated and adapted version of the JA Personal Finance® Blended Model, or traditional teaching and learning methods with digital technology blended in a way that helps students learn the material more productively.
