PIC Doverie’s Credit Rating Raised to A- (positive trend)

After the latest assessment of PIC Doverie AD and the pension funds managed by the company, the Bulgarian Credit Rating Agency (BCRA) raised the A- rating perspective of Doverie from stable trend to positive trend and confirmed the A- (stable trend) rating of Doverie GPF, Doverie PPF and Doverie VPF.

For the first time credit rating was assigned to PIC Doverie and the pension funds managed by the company at the end of the year 2004 by BCRA and ICRA. From then on the activity of Doverie is under the constant observation of the credit agency, which every six months makes an assessment based on which it confirms, lowers or raises the company's rating.

In its latest assessment BCRA points out that:

Regarding its investment policy over the observed period PIC Doverie follows a socially responsible investment strategy based on UN principles and criteria, increases the amount of the investments in instruments on the international capital markets, takes an active approach to its investment portfolio management, etc.

BCRA believes that the funds of PIC Doverie maintain high investment quality.

PIC Doverie retains its leading positions in general and professional pension insurance over the whole period observed.

From 2007 the company reduced some of the fees charged and makes discounts (~15%) for insured persons, who besides in Doverie GPF or PPF are members also of the company's voluntary pension fund. The receipts from insurance contributions per person in GPF during the six-month period of 2007 have considerably increased and surpass the average."
