The 40 to 40 project celebrated its 10th anniversary

On October 11, 2023, Darik Radio's 40 to 40 poject celebrated its 10th birthday. At the ceremony, the new talented Bulgarians, up to 40 years old, who are included in this year's list, were also officially presented. 

The special guest of the event was Prof. Veselin Metodiev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of the Republic of Bulgaria, in the period 1997 - 1999. The highlight of his speech was the appeal to young people not to be indifferent to evil, but to fight against it. 

PAC Doverie is one of the main partners of this initiative, the aim of which is to discover and showcase young, successful Bulgarians in fields such as "Business and Entrepreneurship", "Culture and Art", "Science, Technology, Inventions", "Education" , "Medicine", "Environment", "Sport", "Social Activities", "Volunteering", "Human Rights", "Media and Communication". 

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary, the organizers honored three ladies who contributed a lot to the development of the project as part of the jury over the years so far - Olga Mineva, Yoana Koleva and Yana Alexieva.  

The prize "First among equals" was presented to Viktor Asenov, a visually impaired athlete who successfully ran the mountain marathon "Vitosha 100" and who plans to climb the highest peak in South America - Aconcagua.
