Yanaki Yanakiev

Yanaki Yanakiev joined the team of PAC Doverie AD in October 2023. He completed his higher education with a master's degree at the University of National and World Economy, with a specialization in control. 

He started his professional career at the Bulgarian national bank, Banking Supervision, and his main work was related to cross-inspections to assess the risks taken by the commercial banks operating in the country. During this 18-year period, he worked with international consultants, passing through different levels and positions, as well as a palette of different trainings and exchange of experience in the country and abroad.

After that, he continued his career as the head of internal audit and control units at Bulgarian Development Bank and "Kozloduy" NPP EAD. Additionally, he was an independent member of the Supervisory Board of PIC "DSK-Rodina" AD and is currently the Deputy chairman of the Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance (MOF). 

Since 2010, he is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Bulgaria and chairman of the Association's Control Board. He has more than 25 years of experience in control and auditing in various fields, as well as valid internal auditor certificates issued by the Ministry of Finance in the country and the Global Institute of Internal Auditors (DIIA). He participated in various forms of training to maintain and improve his qualifications.
