- Peter Höfinger - Chairperson
He studied law at the University of Vienna and has a specialization in EU competition law at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). Holds a Master's degree in Law.
Has been a member of the Management Board of Vienna Insurance Group since January 2009. From 2003 to 2008 was a member of the Management Board of Donauversicherung, responsible for sales and marketing. Previously, he was internationally involved outside the Group, as CEO or board member of companies in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland.
In 2018, he was awarded the degree of Doctor honoris causa (Dr.h.c) by the Academy of Economics D. А. Tsenov, Bulgaria for his contribution to the development of the insurance industry in Bulgaria. Married, with four children.
At Vienna Insurance Group he is responsible for the group’s Corporate business, Rreinsurance and Vienna International Underwriters (VIU). His country responsibilities include the Region South (Albania Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Croatia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.
- Gerald Weber
He graduated from the “Karl Francens Universität” in Graz, specialty Business Economy. At present he is Managing Director of ‘‘VIG Real Estate’’ GmbH (Austria) and ‘’VIG-CZ Real Estate’’ GmbH (Austria) and Procurator of ‘’Vienna Insurance Group AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe’’ (Austria).
- Gerhard Grund - Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Pension Assurance Company Doverie
He holds a doctoral degree in Law from the University of Vienna and an MBA from California State University, Hayward. His professional career is related to investment banking and asset management. For several years, he has held various board and supervisory positions in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia.
- Miroslav Stoyanov - Independent Member of the Supervisory Board
General Manager of the Small Business Support Programme of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He holds a BSc in Corporate Finance from the University of National and World Economy and an EMBA from Ashridge Business School, London.
In the EBRD programme, he is responsible for managing the relationship with all stakeholders (government, local and international associations, chambers and clusters, media, local SMEs and consultants, etc.), organises and oversees all consultancy projects, and is responsible for promoting the programme and ensuring that it delivers real value through each project.

- Daniela Petkova - Chairperson
Daniela Petkova was CEO of Pension Assurance Company Doverie from 2000 to 2012. When she stepped into the position, the Company had about 90,000 clients and managed about BGN 11 million in assets. Under her leadership, as CEO and Chairperson of the Board, the number of the insured persons and the assets under management grew rapidly, and as of the first half of 2021, nearly 1,200,000 Bulgarian citizens were insured in the pension funds managed by Pension Assurance Company Doverie, and the assets under management are more than four and a half billion leva (according to the FSC data, http://www.fsc.bg/).
In 2005 Daniela Petkova was honoured by the American Biographical Institute for her accomplishments in the field of marketing and management and was included in the list of Great Women of the 21st Century. That same year she won the traditional Business Woman of the Year Award for 2005 from the "We, Women" magazine. Mrs. Petkova was the first manager from a non-banking financial institution to be awarded the Burov Prize for Financial Management. She was ranked 18th in the prestigious ranking of the 100 most influential women in Bulgaria for 2011 and 5th in the same ranking for 2012. She was also winner of the "Mr. & Ms. Economics" award for her contribution to the non-banking financial sector in 2012. In 2013, Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation awarded her with a prize for her overall contribution to the development of insurance in Bulgaria. In 2018, she received the Popovo Municipality's badge of honour.
- Miroslav Marinov – Executive Director
He joined the Company in 1999 as financial analyst at the "Finance and Accounting" Directorate, appointed among over 200 applicants for the vacancy during the “Career Days – 1999” organized by AISECK – Bulgaria. At the beginning of 2000 he was appointed Internal Auditor. Since April 2001 he has been the director of the "Finance, Accounting and Investments" Directorate, and since September 2008 he has been Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer. In 2012, he was elected as a Member of the Management Board and subsequently as the Company's CEO. Graduate of the University of National and World Economy, M.A. degree in Corporate Finance. Before joining Doverie Mr. Marinov had served as real estate broker and capital markets assistant manager. In 2020, he was awarded with the "Lifetime Contribution to the Development of Bulgarian Insurance" Award of the Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation.
- Kiril Georgiev - Executive Director
He joined the team of Pension Assurance Company Doverie in November 2009 as IT Director, and has been holding the same position between 2004 and 2006. Before joining the team of PAC Doverie for the first time he worked as an IT Director in a couple of international companies. In 2020, he was elected Member of the Management Board and Executive director of the Company.
- Angelina Petrova - Member of the Management Board
She started working at PAC "Doverie" in 1994 as the Director of the "Information Systems and Pension Product" Directorate, which she led until the beginning of March 2002, when she was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer. After structural changes, in 2012 she headed the Specialized Service "Internal Control" directly subordinated to the Management Board. From 2013 to 2021, she held the position of Executive Director, and currently is the Chief Methodologist for Supplementary pension insurance. She was also the Responsible Actuary of the Company. She graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of St. Kliment Ohridski - majoring in "Mathematics", qualification - mathematician-mathematical statistics. In 2016, she was awarded with the "Lifetime Contribution to the Development of Bulgarian Insurance" Award of Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation.
- Lachezar Raichev
Mr. Raichev graduated in Law in 1980 from Sofia University St. Kliment Ochridski. Worked as an Attorney at law in Sofia and a legal counsel at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations. Attorney at law experienced in commercial and company law, foreign investments, labour and customs law, bankruptcy and arbitration. Founder of Lega InterConsult (LIC) – Penkov, Markov & Partners.
- Vassil Yanachkov
He graduated from the Higher Institute of Chemical Engineering in Sofia with a degree in Mining and Processing of Ferrous Metals and Industrial Management at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Between 1969 – 1990 he worked at “Kremikovtzi” Plant. Currently he is Chairperson of the Independent Federation of Metalworkers. He is vice-president of the European Metalworkers Federation.
- Dimana Rankova
Graduated from the Faculty of law of the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Worked with the Commission for securities and stock market, since its establishment in 1996 and onwards after it was renamed to State commission for securities, first as an Expert and Director of the Legal and the Legal base departments and since 2001 - as a member. Between 2003 and 2009 and later, between 2010 and 2012, she was Deputy chair of the Financial supervision commission, in charge of the Investment supervision Division. Between 2009 and 2010 she was Member of the MB of the Bulgarian development bank and Chair of the MB of The project company Burgas-Alexandroupolis BG pipeline. Since 2012 she was Counselor to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria and Chair of the Commission on remission of uncollectable debts to the state for two years. In April 2014 she joined PAC Doverie as Counselor to the MB.
